The Other Santana There is a second Santana. In fact, she’s an exact duplicate - almost - to the 55’ schooner launched in 1935. The other Santana measures somewhat shorter in length and was launched in 2004. Other than this, from the outside, they are identical. Constructed by Paul Reck, artisan and craftsman, the model Santana now graces the entry of the Kaplan’s home. Built over the course of one year, Paul’s attention to detail on the model is beyond description. Paul was one of the key players in the restoration of the Santana.
